Metrohm Autolab was founded in 1986 as Eco Chemie and has been setting the benchmark in electrochemical research instrumentation already for more than three decades. 
Since 1999 the Company is a fully-owned subsidiary of Metrohm Group. 

Based in Utrecht, The Netherlands, we design and manufacture Autolab instruments, accessories and software for electrochemistry with applications ranging from energy generation & storage and corrosion to bio-sensors and environmental protection. Our customers in more than 100 countries all over the world trust and relay on our equipment, service and support.
Known for innovation, the Autolab was the first commercial digital potentiostat / galvanostat, that was completely computer controlled. Since then, our software packages NOVA and INTELLO have set a high standard for powerful electrochemical research software.
