Eugen Tkachenko, P.Eng., PMP, is a seasoned professional in engineering and project management, currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Metrolinx, focusing on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT since June 2022. Prior to this role, Tkachenko worked with the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) from September 2010 to June 2022 as a Senior Engineering Lead in Signals & Communications, and also as a Senior Project Engineer in Automatic Train Control within the Wayside Engineering group. Earlier in the career, Tkachenko held positions as a Design Engineer in Signals/ATC and as an EEE Parts Engineer at MDA - Space Missions from 2004 to September 2010. Tkachenko began professional development as a Product Engineer at Actel after completing a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Toronto, where education was obtained from 1999 to 2004.
