Gordon Ackroyd

Gordon Ackroyd is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Vice President of Legal Services at Metrolinx since January 2024, Gordon previously held the position of Head of Legal for Digital Trust Services at Gen Digital Inc. from September 2022 to December 2023, overseeing a division formed after the merger of multiple companies. Prior to that, Gordon was Senior Vice President and General Counsel at SecureKey Technologies Inc. from February 2015 to September 2022, managing legal matters related to identity authentication solutions. Additional experience includes consulting roles at Quickplay and legal positions at Bell Media and Bell Canada, where responsibilities encompassed digital initiatives, strategic partnerships, and various commercial agreements. Gordon's legal career began at McMillan LLP, following the attainment of an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University.
