Jacob Mitchell

Jacob Mitchell is an experienced professional currently serving as the Manager of Agreements for GO Expansion and Rapid Transit at Metrolinx since October 2022, where responsibilities include leading the development and negotiation of pre-construction agreements with municipalities. Prior to this role, Jacob held the position of Senior Advisor for Agreements at Metrolinx and has accumulated considerable experience at the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, where roles included Senior Policy Advisor for the System Planning Branch and contributions to the Southwestern Ontario Transportation Task Force. Additional experience includes positions at the Ontario Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks. Jacob holds a Master of Environmental Studies in Planning from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Geography and Environmental Studies from McMaster University, along with a certification in Project Management Fundamentals from McMaster University Continuing Education.
