Mark Farmer, PMP, CSM, is a seasoned digital communications professional currently serving as a Senior Digital Communications Advisor at Metrolinx since July 2022. Farmer is actively involved in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy Working Group and co-chairs the NeuroLinx resource group, promoting neurodiversity. Previously, Farmer worked as a Senior Digital Media Strategist at the Ontario College of Teachers from August 2016 to June 2022, leading digital media initiatives for Canada’s largest professional regulator. Prior roles include Digital Strategist at York University, where significant social media growth was achieved, and instructor at George Brown College, teaching Facebook marketing. Additional experiences include social media management at Intuit and web redesign management at the Royal Ontario Museum. Farmer's educational background includes a Leadership Essentials Certificate from the University of Toronto and degrees from Humber College, University of King's College, and Saint Mary's University.
