Mark Thompson

Mark Thompson is a seasoned professional in civil engineering and tunnelling, currently serving as the Vice President for Metrolinx on the Ontario Line project. With a BSc (Hons) and MSc, Mark has an extensive background in mining and project management, having held key positions at British Coal, Glencore Australia, UK Coal, and Transport for London. Mark's experience includes leading large multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex mining projects, as well as significant contributions to major infrastructure initiatives in the UK. They have overseen numerous successful projects, demonstrating expertise in operations, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement throughout their career.
