Matt Simon

Matt Simon, P.Eng, currently serves as a Project Manager for the Joint Corridor Subway Program at Metrolinx since July 2021. Prior to this role, Matt held positions at GFL Environmental Inc. as a Project Coordinator and Project Manager/Estimator, where responsibility included estimating and managing shoring infrastructure projects. Matt's experience also encompasses a Project Manager role for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT Project at Deep Foundations Contractors Inc. and a Field Engineer position at RWH Engineering Inc., focusing on quality assurance and control in various shoring and structural projects. Earlier in the career, Matt worked for OWL Distribution Inc. as an Engineered Wood Products Designer, analyzing structural plans and performing capacity calculations. A graduate of Western University, Matt obtained a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Civil and Structural Engineering between 2009 and 2013.
