Michael Stacey

Michael Stacey is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy development and coordination. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor in Policy Coordination at Metrolinx since June 2023, previous roles include Senior Policy Advisor at the Ontario Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services and Project Lead in Risk Management at the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development. Michael also held positions such as Financial Analyst and Business Integration Advisor within the same ministry. Early career experiences include roles at the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities, Social Research and Demonstration Corporation, Global Solution Networks, City of Toronto, and York University as a Teaching Assistant. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the University of Toronto and a Master’s Degree in Social and Political Thought from York University, complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree in Contemporary Studies and Classics from the University of King's College.
