Soliman Abusamra

Soliman Abusamra, PhD, PMP, RMP, ENV SP, LEED GA, CCM, PMI-PMOCP, CLSSBB, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and project management. Currently serving as Director of Commercial Management at Metrolinx, Soliman has a strong background in contract management and project execution, evidenced through roles at VIA Rail Canada and KPMG Canada. With academic credentials including a PhD in Civil Engineering focused on Asset Management from Concordia University and significant contributions to various infrastructure projects across Canada and internationally, Soliman's expertise encompasses commercial discussions, variation orders, and stakeholder engagement. Soliman actively participates in professional organizations, holding leadership positions in the Canadian Network of Asset Managers and the North American Society for Trenchless Technology, and is also engaged in academia as a part-time lecturer at Toronto Metropolitan University.
