Tom Arbuckle

Tom Arbuckle is an experienced professional in the rail industry, currently serving as the Director of Rail Fleet Engineering and Asset Management at Metrolinx since January 2024. Prior to this role, Tom held the position of Director of Mechanical Maintenance at VIA Rail Canada from November 2018 to January 2024. Tom's career includes significant positions at BOMBARDIER as Senior Maintenance Manager, and Canadian Pacific Railway, where roles included Superintendent Locomotive ON/QC, Production Manager LRC, Locomotive Manager Operations Center, and Mechanical Services Supervisor. Tom earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from York University between 1996 and 1999.
