Tyler Mayhew

Tyler Mayhew has a diverse work experience in government communications and strategic planning. Tyler started their career as a Multimedia Communications Coordinator at the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, where they coordinated the production of various communications materials and provided web development support. Tyler then worked as a Strategic Communications Advisor, liaising with government contacts and developing public communications materials for joint projects and events. After that, Mayhew joined The Ontario Cabinet Office as a Senior Communications Advisor, where they reviewed and guided the development of strategic communications plans for high-profile programs across government ministries. Tyler also served as a Team Lead for a major online change initiative, overseeing content creation and maintenance for the province's website. Currently, Mayhew holds the position of Director of Communications, Subway Program at Metrolinx, where they provide oversight and support for communications processes and delivers strategic counsel to program and planning colleagues, executive leaders, and senior government officials.

Tyler Mayhew completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph between the years 2001 and 2005.
