Tyson Moore

Tyson Moore is a Senior Engineering Lead at Metrolinx, specializing in Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) and Computer-Based Interlocking (CBI) since October 2022, overseeing engineering assurance for multiple Rapid Transit projects and supporting heavy rail signalling projects. Previously, in roles such as Project Manager and Project Coordinator, Tyson contributed to the GO Transit Train Control System by managing budgets, strategies, and stakeholder engagement, while also coordinating the implementation of a new signalling system. In addition to engineering roles, Tyson serves as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Birmingham, focusing on railway signalling and communications theory. With a strong educational background, including a Master's degree in Railway Safety and Control Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Tyson has demonstrated exceptional skills across various roles in engineering, IT support, and lecturing.
