Michael Douglass, PMP, is a seasoned engineering professional with over 30 years of experience in the defense sector. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Metron, Inc., Michael leads agile software development projects within the Advanced Mathematics Applications division. Previous roles include providing senior engineering support for the US Navy's OHIO Replacement Submarine program and delivering strategic planning services for the US Coast Guard's international acquisition projects. Michael’s extensive background in submarine systems includes leadership roles within the US Navy, where responsibilities encompassed advanced science and technology development, program management, and coordination of large-scale military operations. Michael holds a bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry from UC San Diego and multiple advanced certifications in program management and nuclear engineering.
