Roy L. Streit

Roy L. Streit is a Senior Fellow at Metron. Roy was previously a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Ohio State University from September 2017 to September 2019. Roy's research focuses on conducting and leading scientific research to measure and detect magnetic skyrmions. Roy is skilled in thin film deposition, materials characterization, nanofabrication, and magnetotransport.

Dr. Roy L. Streit attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they received their Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Physics. Roy continued their education at The Ohio State University, earning their Doctor of Philosophy in Physics. In addition to their academic degrees, Dr. Streit has also earned certifications from Coursera in Data Science Orientation and Tools for Data Science, as well as a certification from Microsoft in Introduction to Python for Data Science.
