Marcus Sweeting

Marcus Sweeting has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Marcus is currently working as an Accounts Payable Supervisor at Metropolis Technologies since July 2022.

Prior to this, from August 2021 to July 2022, they served as an Operations Manager at Greater Nashville Technology Council.

From May 2019 to August 2021, Marcus worked as an Accounts Payable & Revenue Coordinator at LEAD Public Schools, where they managed the entire accounts payable cycle and processed monthly grant reimbursements.

Before that, they worked at GEODIS from June 2016 to August 2021, initially as a Transportation Coordinator and later as a Transportation Billing Analyst. In these roles, they conducted trend analysis, identified billing discrepancies, and implemented process improvements.

Marcus also gained experience as a Finance Analyst at Panalpina from December 2018 to March 2019.

Marcus'searlier experience includes serving as an Executive Pastor at Rehoboth Outreach Ministry from August 2013 to December 2018, where they oversaw strategic planning and ministry coordination, and as an Executive Director at A Place for You Learning Center from August 2014 to May 2017, where they ensured compliance with regulations and maintained a child-centered environment.

Marcus Sweeting completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Bethel University, College of Professional Studies from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 2007 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Marcus also obtained Certified Insurance Consultant Licenses (Life & Health, Individual) from Senior Life Insurance Company in October 2019 and from National Care Financial Group in August 2019.
