Rob Bland is the Chief Transformation Officer of Metropolis, an artificial intelligence company that utilizes computer vision technology to create checkout-free experiences at over 4,000 locations in the United States. They have been integral in Metropolis's fundraising efforts, contributing to the company raising nearly $2 billion from leading investors. Previously, Rob co-led McKinsey's practice for start-ups and growth investors, impacting thousands of prominent start-ups and unicorns. Early in their career, Rob played a key role in founding or leading several start-ups, including Rosetta Stone, which revolutionized language learning on a mass scale.
