Alan Boylston

Alan Boylston is an experienced engineering leader in the mining and minerals industry, currently serving as Vice President of Process Engineering - Comminution at Metso since April 2013. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive comminution solutions, standardizing engineering procedures, and managing global laboratory services. Additionally, Alan has been an Operations Manager at Metso Minerals since September 2010, overseeing the Technology Development group and handling various aspects such as budgeting and project management. Previous roles include Process Development Engineer at Rio Tinto Alcan, Senior Process Engineer at Guinea Alumina Corporation, Process Engineer at Global Alumina and Hatch. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, obtained in 1996.
