Lead Engineer - Classics at Metso

Brian Klett has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Brian currently works at Metso as a Lead Engineer, where their responsibilities include R&D, design, and development of upgrades to legacy products. Brian also provides worldwide support for 26 product lines and manages workloads for direct reports and overseas resources. Prior to this, Brian worked at Metso Outotec as a Mechanical Engineer III, where they provided engineering support for legacy products and designed and delivered aftermarket spare parts. Brian has also worked as a Freelance Senior Mechanical Engineer and held various positions at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, including Senior Test Engineer, Senior Design Engineer, Project Engineer, Materials Engineer, Materials Lab Intern, and Powertrain Intern. Lastly, they worked as a Test Engineer Intern at U-Line Corporation.

Brian Klett obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Additionally, they earned a certification in High Power Rocketry - Level 1 from the National Association of Rocketry in July 2021, and an FCC Amateur License from the Federal Communications Commission in May 2017.
