Felipe Ortiz

Felipe Ortiz is an experienced professional in data analysis and process engineering, currently serving as a Specialist Engineer at Metso since July 2023. Previously, Felipe held the position of Process Data Specialist at both Metso Outotec and Metso from July 2020 to June 2023 and July 2019 to July 2020, respectively. Felipe's earlier experience includes working as a Process Control Engineer at Minera Sierra Gorda SCM from July 2012 to July 2019 and as Jefe Mantenimiento Eléctrico e Instrumentación Planta Sulfuros at Anglo American from May 2007 to June 2012. Felipe holds a Magíster en Data Science from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and has completed a course in Machine Learning, Mathematics and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in addition to an Ingeniero Civil Electrónico degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
