Joonas Helander

Joonas Helander is a highly experienced professional specializing in product and project management within the engineering and mining sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at Metso since July 2019, Joonas focuses on mining filtration products. Previously, Joonas held the role of Project Manager at Outotec from November 2015 to July 2019, where responsibilities included leading equipment delivery projects and supervising workshops. Prior experience also includes serving as a Mechanical Chief Engineer for Anode Casting at Outotec and as an R&D Engineer at ABB, where contributions involved project management and lead engineering. Joonas began a career as a Structural Engineer at Etteplan Group in early 2010, following the completion of a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from LUT University in 2010.
