Mari Lindgren has extensive experience in the field of materials science and metallurgy, with a career spanning various roles in both academic and industrial settings. Lindgren served as Director of Smelting RTD at Metso from August 2020 to September 2004 and held multiple positions at Outotec from October 2005 to May 2012, including Specialist/Senior Research Metallurgist and Technology Director - Pyromet & Materials. Additionally, Lindgren contributed to research at Tampere University of Technology from July 1997 to March 2003. Lindgren obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science from Tampere University of Technology.
