Markku Simula

Markku Simula has been in the Aggregates Equipment industry for over 8 years. Markku started their career as the Head of Risk Mngt - Services at Outotec in 2007 and has since been a part of the Operation & Maintenance Management Team. In 2011, they developed and managed the risk management operating model globally for Services, which included benchmarking, launching, and training Sales and Operations. Markku was also the service representative in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and facilitated risk review processes globally for Long term Service agreements such as Operation and Maintenance (O&M). In 2015, they left Outotec to become the President of Aggregates Equipment at Metso.

Markku Simula studied physical metallurgy, materials science, and industrial economics at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, earning a Licenciate of Technology.

Markku Simula reports to Pekka Vauramo, President and CEO. They work with Eeva Sipilä - CFO and Deputy to CEO, Olii Isotalo - CEO, Neles, and Uffe Hansen - President, Recycling .
