Mert Katkay possesses extensive experience in the mining and minerals sales sectors, currently serving as the Head of Minerals Sales for the Middle East and Turkey at Metso since July 2013. Prior roles at Metso included Sales Manager for Mining Capital and Capital Equipment Sales Engineer. Before joining Metso, Mert worked as a Process Engineer at Sisecam from March 2011 to July 2013 and as a Sales Engineer at MTM Makina for a brief period in 2010. Mert holds an Executive MBA in Business and Management from Bilkent University (2018-2020) and a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Middle East Technical University (2004-2009), with foundational education from İsmail Safa Özler Anadolu Lisesi (1996-2003).
