Michael Rauscher

Michael Rauscher is an experienced engineering and proposals management professional with a diverse background in the mining and heavy industries. Currently serving as Proposal Engineering Manager at Metso since September 2020, Rauscher's previous roles include Director of Grinding Proposals Management at Outotec and Product Manager for Comminution at Weir Minerals. Notably, Rauscher worked as General Manager for Africa at CITIC Heavy Industries, driving business development and establishing a new office in South Africa. Rauscher's extensive career at Metso began in 1994, progressing from Application Engineer to Senior Product Engineer and Key Account Manager. Rauscher holds a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and various certifications in marketing and financial management.
