Michael Vasiza

Michael Vasiza is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in procurement and sourcing, currently serving as the Global Procurement Manager for IT Commodity and Indirect Sourcing at Metso since May 2023. Previously, Michael held similar roles at Metso Outotec and Outotec, where responsibilities included managing indirect sourcing activities, supplier negotiations, and category management strategies. Michael's career began at Lidl Suomi, where significant contributions were made as a Procurement Manager and Specialist. Additional entrepreneurial experience was gained as Founder and Business Director of Best Brakes Oy. Michael holds a JET Leadership Specialist Qualification and degrees in International Trade and Agricultural Mechanization.
