Tuomas Teeri

Tuomas Teeri currently serves as Vice President of Foundry Operations and Vice President of Technology at Metso since May 2023. Prior experiences include Vice President of Technology at Metso Outotec from July 2020 to May 2023, as well as various leadership roles within Metso from March 2007 to July 2020, including Director, RTD and Product Manager. Before joining Metso, Tuomas worked as a Research Scientist and Research Assistant at Tampere University of Technology from September 2004 to March 2007, and gained early experience as a Foreman trainee at Mäntyluoto Works during the summers of 2001 to 2003, and as a Marketing Assistant at Iobox from 1999 to 2000. Tuomas holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in material research, metals, and occupational safety engineering from Tampere University of Technology, completed between 2001 and 2006, and attended Porin Suomalainen Yhteislyseo from 1997 to 2000.
