Jake Reid is a Graduate Structural Steel Detailer at MetStructures, where responsibilities include producing accurate 3D models and drawings for Light Gauge Steel Framing and Hot Rolled Steel structures using Tekla Structures. Jake joined MetStructures in September 2021 as a High-Level Apprentice while pursuing a Foundation Degree in Civil Engineering at Ulster University. Prior experience includes working as a Civil/Agricultural Contractor at McKeown Contracts from June 2017 to September 2021 and serving as a Shop Assistant at Centra from January 2020 to June 2021. Currently, Jake is enrolled at The Open University to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering & Management.
