Jaco Maré

Jaco Maré is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in people strategy and management consulting. Currently serving as the Global People Director at Metyis since September 2017, Jaco drives the Global People Strategy and enhances Talent Stewardship efforts. Previously, Jaco held roles such as People Strategy & Innovation Leader and Manager of Strategy & Execution at Metyis, where responsibilities included crafting people strategies, leading project teams, and managing client relationships. Earlier in the career, Jaco contributed to Discovery Health's Special Projects as a Senior Analyst and Analyst, providing strategic support and conducting research. Jaco's experience also includes working as an Analyst at Raizcorp and as an Associate Consultant at IQ Business South Africa. Jaco holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Management Sciences and an Honours degree in Business Management and Strategy from the University of Pretoria.
