Gary Brown

Gary Brown is an experienced materials engineer with a career spanning over three decades in the chemicals industry. Currently serving as the Managing Director of GKB Materials Engineering Consultancy Limited since January 2017, Gary specializes in failure investigation, fabrication, and inspection. Prior experience includes a long tenure at Mexichem, where Gary has held the position of Senior Materials Engineer since January 2010, overseeing the inspection operations for the UK site. Previously, Gary contributed to INEOS Fluor and ICI Klea in similar senior engineer roles within the global Fluor business, and began career development as a Materials Engineer at ICI Engineering. Gary holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Metallurgy from The Manchester Metropolitan University and has foundational education from Liverpool North East College and Prescot Grammar.
