Ed Sherman

Ed Sherman is an experienced corporate counsel and patent attorney with a career spanning over four decades in intellectual property and materials science. Currently serving as Corporate Counsel at Meyer Corporation since February 2006, Sherman manages worldwide responsibilities for patent and trademark procurement across multiple affiliated companies. Prior to this role, Sherman was the owner of the Patent and IP Law Office of Edward S. Sherman, assisting a diverse range of clients from individual inventors to corporations with patent, trademark, and copyright matters. Sherman's background includes positions as IP Manager at JDS Uniphase and Senior Scientist at Raychem, where significant contributions were made in polymer science and engineering. Sherman holds a JD from Empire College, a PhD in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Technion.
