Markus Mönig

Dr. Markus Mönig is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in the energy sector and industry. After completing a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a doctorate in Production Technology at Technische Universität Dortmund, they held significant roles at RWE, including managing RWE Energiedienstleistungen, where they advanced decarbonization initiatives. Since 2018, they have worked as a self-employed consultant, leading restructuring and transformation projects for notable clients such as Meyer Werft and STEAG. Currently, Mönig serves as the Head of Corporate Development and PMO IDW S6-Maßnahmen at Meyer Werft. They also impart knowledge as a lecturer in media communication related to the energy industry.
