Michael Worrell

Michael Worrell is a seasoned professional in the timber and compliance sectors, currently serving as Commercial Manager at Meyer Timber Ltd since September 2020 and as Group Compliance Manager for THE HADLEIGH TIMBER GROUP LIMITED since February 2018. Previously, Michael held the position of Head of Policy and Sustainability at the Timber Trade Federation from March 2016 to February 2018. Michael's earlier experience includes various roles at the National Measurement and Regulation Office from June 2009 to February 2016, encompassing EUTR & ABS Contract Manager, EUTR Enforcement Policy Officer, Utilities Policy Officer, and W&M Enforcement Policy Officer. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology from the University of Kent, attained between 2005 and 2008.
