Mezame (目覚め) is a Japanese word that means awakening, and that's exactly what we set out to create.

We are India's first dedicated Japanese tea destination, built for those who take what they put in their body seriously. From the volcanic soil farms of Kagoshima, Japan, we source and deliver JAS Certified Organic matcha and Japanese teas - Matcha, Hojicha, Sencha, Genmaicha - with an obsessive focus on quality.

Every product we carry is tested across 10+ parameters before it reaches our store. We don't list something until we believe in it.

Mezame was born out of a founder's personal frustration - the Indian market was flooded with overpriced, low-quality matcha or products with no traceability. We wanted to change that. We wanted to make authentic ceremonial-grade Japanese tea accessible to every professional, wellness enthusiast, and curious explorer in India.

Today, Mezame ships across India through the website, e-commerce platforms, quick-commerce, and modern retail. We offer B2B bulk options to HoReCa partners in India as well. Our community includes high-performers, founders, athletes, and wellness-first individuals who have replaced their second coffee with a cup of matcha - and never looked back.

What we offer:
→ Ceremonial & culinary grade Matchas (Tsuki, Mizu, Yuki, Niwa, and more)
→ Hojicha, Sencha, and Genmaicha loose-leaf teas
→ Handcrafted ceramics and teaware
→ Gifting collections curated for tea lovers
→ Tea Minis - sampler packs for the curious beginner

If you're tired of the jitter-crash cycle of coffee, or simply ready to upgrade your daily ritual, Mezame is your starting point. Explore our collection at mezame.in
