Cindy Ma serves as the Global Head of Portfolio Valuation and Fund Advisory Services at Houlihan Lokey since May 2007, taking part in the firm’s Technical Standards and Management Committees. Ma specializes in the valuation of illiquid, private, and complex securities, offering services in fair valuation analysis, valuation governance, securitization compliance, fund recapitalization, and portfolio diligence. Additionally, Ma has been a Board of Director member for both Managed Funds Association and PENCIL, Inc. from October 2021 and December 2017, respectively. Prior experience includes directing significant litigation projects at NERA Economic Consulting, serving as a Partner at Ernst & Young, and leading litigation support assignments at Law & Economics Consulting Group. Ma also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, teaching MBA-level courses on futures and options.
