Jesse Westbrook

Jesse Westbrook is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Vice President of Communications at MFA since September 2025. Previously, Westbrook held the position of Managing Director at Narrative Strategies DC from March 2024 to September 2025 and co-founded Capitol Account, where work was done from June 2022 to March 2024. Westbrook's extensive background in journalism includes a lengthy tenure at Bloomberg News from January 2004 to April 2022, serving in multiple roles such as Managing Editor of U.S. Financial Coverage and Lead Reporter for various financial sectors. Early career experience includes a position as Real Estate Reporter at Bradenton Herald in 2003. Westbrook holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder.
