Anna Starrett

Anna Starrett has extensive work experience, beginning in 1993 as an Accountant for Frank Tickle Chartered Accountant. Anna then moved to Lawler Partners Chartered Accountants in 1996 as a Manager. In 2002, Anna became a Manager for Forsythes. From 2008 to 2010, they served as Financial Controller for Delta EMD and Operations Manager and Commercial Manager for Motion Asia Pacific. From 2020 to 2021, Anna was Regional Director Asia Pacific and Finance Director for PBE Group, and in 2021 they became a Diocesan Advisory Board Member for the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle. Currently, Anna is Chief Financial Officer for MGA Thermal.

Anna Starrett has a long history of education. Anna attended Newcastle High from 1984 to 1989 and then went on to the University of Newcastle where they earned a Commerce degree between 1989 and 1992. In 1995 and 1996, they completed the CA program at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. In 2017, they completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Most recently, in 2020, they completed the Strategic Alignment Programme at the University of Oxford, with a focus on Business Strategy. In addition to these formal educational experiences, Anna also holds two certifications: the Oxford Strategic Alignment Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, obtained in 2021; and Learn to Lead with UNSW from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, obtained in 2020.
