Joshua Pierce

Joshua Pierce has extensive experience in welding education and military service. Currently serving as a Welding Technology Instructor at MGCCC since August 2012, Joshua teaches various welding processes, cutting techniques, and related skills. A former Team Leader in the Mississippi Army National Guard from April 1995 to April 2013, Joshua held multiple roles including infantryman and combat engineer. Prior to MGCCC, Joshua was a Welding Instructor at North Baldwin Center for Technology, teaching welding skills to high school students and conducting dual enrollment classes. Joshua's practical experience includes a tenure as a Welder at Ingalls Shipbuilding, where expertise in several structural welding processes was developed. Academically, Joshua holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Community College Leadership, in addition to multiple degrees in education, business administration, and technical education.
