Lorelei Tarter

Lorelei Tarter is a seasoned mathematics educator with extensive experience in various teaching roles spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Mathematics Instructor at Hillsborough Community College since August 2024, Lorelei previously held positions as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher in the Gulfport School District and as an Adjunct Mathematics Instructor at both Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and East Mississippi Community College. Lorelei's teaching portfolio includes a diverse array of courses such as Dual Enrollment College Algebra, Advanced Placement Statistics, and various algebra levels, utilizing a range of instructional methods including online, face-to-face, and hybrid formats. Lorelei obtained a Master of Science in Science and Math Education from The University of Southern Mississippi and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Trinity University.
