Ning Liang is a Senior Field Application Scientist at MGI, currently focused on utilizing Stereo-seq to create spatially resolved transcriptomics at nanoscale resolution. Previously, Ning served as a Senior Research Scientist at BGI Group from 2021 to 2024 and conducted doctoral research at Karolinska Institutet between 2012 and 2019, where they uncovered significant roles of GPS2 in lipid metabolism and its implications in NAFLD. Ning earned a PhD in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism from Karolinska Institutet and holds a Master's degree in Reproductive Endocrinology from the University of Science and Technology of China.
