Dawn Plested

Dawn Plested, JD, MBA, FACHE, is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in operations, consulting, and management. Currently serving as the Consulting Principal for MGMA since July 2021 and as the Chief Executive Officer at Plested Healthcare Consulting since September 2012, Dawn has also held key positions such as Chief Operations Officer/Executive Director for the Federal Urban Health Network and Director of Operations for Lakewood Health System. With a strong foundation in law and business, having earned a Doctor of Law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and an MBA from Bethel University, Dawn is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in Political Science, Dawn’s diverse skill set and leadership experience underscore a commitment to advancing healthcare services and operations.
