Laura Johnson

Laura Johnson, CMP, has extensive experience in the meetings and events industry, having served in various roles since 2004. Johnson began as a Sales Manager at The Summit Group and later worked as a Meeting Specialist at Hyatt Hotels Corporation until 2014. After a tenure as Meetings Coordinator for the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration, Johnson took on the role of Special Events Coordinator at Centura Health from May 2022 to July 2023. Currently, Johnson is a Meeting Planner at MGMA, starting in May 2024. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Northern Colorado, earned in 2022.
