T. Renee Parker, CPA is a Tax Partner and the National Tax Controversy Practice Leader at MGO. Renee has over 15 years of tax controversy experience and is a member of the IRS Tax Advocacy Panel. She is well versed in all areas of tax controversy including, but not limited to: U.S. Federal, state and local tax audits; sales and use/payroll tax audits; international tax compliance related audits, including FBARs and 5471s; negotiation and settlements with tax authorities; and correspondence and negotiation with tax authorities. Renee also has substantial experience with researching complex tax matters and drafting technical memos to support her clients’ tax positions.

Prior to joining MGO, Renee was a Partner with Schwartz & Company, LLP. She started her career at Deloitte & Touche, LLP and spent approximately six years in public accounting. She then ventured to private industry and was an AVP of Tax at American Home Mortgage, a Mortgage Real Estate Investment Trust with a taxable REIT subsidiary.
