Andy Ellis

Andy Ellis currently serves as the Head of Tax at MGX, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this role, Andy was the Tax Director at Mubadala from June 2016 to October 2024. Previous experience includes serving as Director of M&A Tax at KPMG UAE from January 2015 to May 2016, where work focused on outbound transactions for large private equity and sovereign wealth fund clients. Additionally, Andy held the position of Senior Manager, M&A Tax at KPMG Canada from July 2012 to December 2014, contributing as a member of the KPMG Global M&A faculty. Earlier experience includes serving as Associate Director at KPMG Thailand from August 2008 to July 2012, specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions Tax and International Corporate Tax. Andy Ellis holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The Australian National University.
