Matt Smith

Matt Smith is a mission-driven researcher and policy analyst with extensive experience in managing and analyzing diverse datasets to address impact and public policy issues. They worked as a Grants Management Specialist for the U.S. Department of State, where they directed the launch of the Assistance Coordination Regional Office and oversaw multiple grants aimed at developing local government institutions. Previously, Matt held positions such as Business Analyst and Policy Analyst, and currently serves as a Senior Policy Analyst at Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas, Inc. Matt earned a Bachelor’s degree in Government and a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from The University of Texas at Austin.
