Mickey McCandless is the Director of Spirituality and Church Connections at Methodist Healthcare Ministries, a position they have held since 2011. Previously, they served as a Pastor within the Southwest Texas Annual Conference for over two decades, leading four different congregations in community engagement and spiritual development. Mickey also worked as a consultant for Barrett Values Centre in 2013. They hold a Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Formation from Perkins School of Theology, along with an MDiv in Theology/Spiritual Formation from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, and degrees in Biology/Chemistry from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and General Business from The University of Texas at Austin.
