Sandra Martinez

Sandra Martinez's work experience begins in 2002 as a Program Manager at the Austin Area Urban League. Sandra then moved on to work as a Grant Management/Fund Development & Board Liaison at the Benitia Family Center from 2004 to 2007. In 2007, Sandra had a summer internship with the United States Senate and later became the Director of Policy for the City Council in San Antonio. Sandra also worked as a Consultant for a political campaign in 2009. From 2009 to 2010, they served as a Management Analyst in the Department of Community Initiatives for the City of San Antonio. In 2010, they joined Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas, Inc., where they held various roles including Policy Analyst & Advocate, Community Affairs & Policy Advisor, Policy Investments & Advocacy Strategist Manager, Community Impact & Advocacy Strategist Manager, Director of Strategy & Partnerships, and currently serves as the Vice President of Strategy & Partnerships. In 2016, they were selected as an AcademyHealth Population Scholar.
