Vince McLeod is the CEO of MHX and has over 15 years of experience in Ed Tech. Vince has worked as an Ed Tech Lead at COMPTON UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, where they implemented a "new technologies" site specific plan, including Google Products (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Sites, Slides, Classroom, Assignments), Nearpod, Flipgrid, Quzilet, Lucidchart, Adobe Products, Anchor.fm, EdPuzzle, and GoFormative across site classrooms; boosted use to over 90% in all classrooms across all subjects (with a 70.90% confidence score amongest 1st time staff usage) and above CUSD proficiency level scores in three areas (Quizlet+7.30%, Classroom +10.84%, and EdPuzzle +12.52%). Vince also planned and led professional development opportunities for 93 certificated staff members around tech usage in the classroom, including extending opportunities to the CUSD through PBL & tech (monthly presentations). In addition, they provided strategic insight into developing site SPSA plan with current administration; achieved 1:1 Chromebook access and full compliance for all DHS Students in 2 years (1950+ Students).
Prior to working at COMPTON UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, Vince McLeod worked as a Substitute Teacher at Whittier Christian High School from February 2016 to August 2017. Vince then worked as Dean of Students at Westside High School from July 2020 to March 2021.
Vince McLeod has a teaching credential in social sciences from Whittier College, an MA in intelligence & international security from King's College London, and a BA in political science from Whittier College.
