Miaan was founded on a deep desire to create. As a collective formed by artists whose origin is SWANA, Miaan aims to explore the nuances of our lived experiences and observed sociocultural concerns through the curation of events and projects guided by periodic conceptual themes. In its attempt to create socially engaged projects and inclusive spaces, the collective utilizes a spectrum of analog and digital tools. Miaan operates with a community-oriented approach, allowing for interaction between artists and audiences.
