Sam Basté

Sam is the Senior Communications Assistant at The Miami Foundation. She aids in managing the Foundation’s websites, streamlining tech processes, and supporting the Communications team with design, social media, and #GiveMiamiDay, among many other things.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Sam worked as a freelance graphic designer, social media and communications consultant, and content creator. She dreams of making Miami a better place and has lent her talents to many grassroots efforts in the city. Sam graduated with a B.A. in Cinema and Media Studies from The University of Chicago in 2019.
