Breast Cancer is the most common cancer among women in the world, with over 2.2 million cases in the past year. These numbers may potentially decrease by one-third with proper diagnosis and early treatment.

The problem – outdated technology and manual work results in errors and inaccurate detection. This problem becomes dramatic when dealing with dense breasts, which 40% of women have, making every annual checkup and follow-up extremely challenging.

This where MICA tech comes in. Our AI decision support system, which is based on “millions” of image scans, diagnoses suspicious findings long before the tumor develops and supports the radiologist's analysis, thereby facilitating personalized treatment.

Products : DENISE & SHARK & MICA
-----------------------------------------

DENISE
Dense Breast Innovative System.
Over 40%of women have dense breasts, which limits the use of regular mammography. DENISE is an AI-based algorithm that provides decision-support to the radiologist. DENISE was developed and validated at the SHEBA Hospital.
Showed an increase in mammography accuracy of up to 90%; while decreasing unnecessary biopsies by 30%.

SHARK
SHARK (SHow And maRK)AI and ML-based algorithm scan mammograms in micro-seconds and flags even the smallest suspicious lesions in mammograms. SHARK will be used as a decision-support tool for mammographers, thereby:
Increasing the reliability of the radiologist’s assessment.
Shortening the time required to analyze a mammogram.

MICA
Mammography Image Comparison Analysis:
shows suspicious and new findings as well as changes in mammograms over time, using MICA’s AI and ML Algorithms
